Call for abstracts
The call for abstracts for the Belgian SMR Day 2027 will open soon. The submission link and instructions will be published on this page.
Who can submit
Abstracts are welcome from researchers, companies working on or around small modular reactors (SMRs), potential users of SMRs and policymakers. Submissions can present finished results as well as ongoing work, plans or open questions.
Possible topics include:
- Reactor physics, thermal-hydraulics and modelling
- Materials, fuels and the fuel cycle
- Safety, licensing and regulation
- Siting, deployment and grid integration
- Economics, financing and the supply chain
- Policy and public engagement
Presentations and posters
The programme committee will review the abstracts and select contributions for an oral presentation or for the poster session. Details on the submission and selection process will be given when the call opens.
